DrJ
I won this set, supposedly mint condition vinyl, on eBay for $115. A lot of money for 4 LPs, but I'm still very excited as I have looked far and wide for either the CD or LP version and the only copies I could find before were listed at ridiculous prices ($220-400!!!). I already know the music from CD-Rs, and love it - huge Merrill fan (recently been hooked on the COLLABORATION disc with Gil Evans). Did I get ripped off or get a decent deal? JSngry
Wellsir, lessee... You got a supposedly mint condition set of music that you know you dig at a better price than you've ever seen it before. I'd say you got screwed, dude. sidewinder
I would say that you paid far too much for this set and should sell it to me at cost price..

Shawn
Consider yourself lucky and enjoy the music!!!!
HolyStitt
I do not know what the sets on average go for, but the music is so wonderful that I would consider it a great deal. I also have the LP version of the set and love it, but I still get mad when I think about the fact that I had the CD version in my hold box at the record store and someone there snatched it while I was gone. JohnJ
I picked up a used CD version at a Disk Union branch in Tokyo for around $20 a few years ago. Definitely one of my better buys.
