Sad news. Saw him just the once with Mingus Dynasty and he held the fort pretty well indeed. RIP.

A great bass player that I've seen once with the MINGUS DYNASTIE.

He was great behind WALTER NORRIS WINTER ROSE (and, for few tracks on NORRIS DRIFTING).

Very sad, indeed, mikeweil send me a mail with this link. It touches me personally, because I had the chance to talk to him, when he was playing here in a small jazzclub(some years ago). He was a very nice person and he gave me some good advice for life, music and practising. I will miss him, goodbye Aladar!
