Here's a link with biographical info for any members or guests who may not know much about Frank Zappa.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Zappa Tonight I'm going to the "22nd Annual Frank Zappa Birthday Party Celebration" in GR, Mich at Mark & Donna's. Two years ago Gail Zappa actually called during the party to see if it really was true that this party existed and had been going every year since 1984. She had heard a rumor somewhere about the annual event, somehow got a phone number.. A woman at the party answered and thought it was a prank call and hung up.. On the one hand yes it will no doubt be a great show entertainment wise with enthusiastic audience sing alongs... On the other hand No because you cannot replace the charismatic stage presence, wittiness, and obvious musical genius that was Frank Zappa.. Though Dweezil has proven to be capable of keeping Zappa's music alive, there's really not much he or his brother Ahmet could add to what has already been accomplished, especially when it comes to the orchestral works...
