Kalo Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 yeah. . . but the hard ting bout these movies. . . who's going to be able to pull off playing JB? :? He was just goofin' on SNL, but Eddie Murphy did a pretty good job. His character in Dreamgirls is supposedly based on JB. I haven't seen it yet (nor am I in a hurry to). Quote
jazzbo Posted December 28, 2006 Author Report Posted December 28, 2006 No, sorry, don't want to watch Eddie. Yeah, animate the mofo. Quote
RDK Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Worked for a producer years ago who wanted to bring Metal Men to the big screen. Thought that was an odd idea. One of the best unproduced superhero scripts I've ever read was one for Plastic Man. Was set pre-WWII and captured the tone just right. At the time (15+ years ago) the sfx weren't up to it, but it could be done now relatively easily (though still expensively). Quote
jazzbo Posted December 28, 2006 Author Report Posted December 28, 2006 Metal Men! Odd. . . would be fun to see but odd to think anyone would get the ball rolliing. Plastic Man would be cool. Indeed. How about a "Blackhawk" movie? That would be cool. Quote

jazzbo Posted January 17, 2007 Author Report Posted January 17, 2007 Really? I guess no surprise considering previous Moore projects that made it. Quote
