Guy Berger Posted February 7, 2007 Author Report Posted February 7, 2007 agreed, yug. It's just that I was hoping that things might get better. They haven't. Morris being the "engineer"... Jack's dad being "behind it all"... both were totally predictable, and totally lame. Well, next thing we'll find out is that the whole thing has been masterminded by the corpse of Nina. Guy Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 So, next season Jack takes a shower and realizes all this year was a dream? Quote
DTMX Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I keep expecting Jack's father to look over at him and say "That'll do, pig. That'll do." Quote
medjuck Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 The pool full of ill-tempered sea bass can't be too far away. diks, I'm not sure what you mean. It's not like this episode was any more ridiculous than the other ones. Guy Actually I thought it was. I've gotten used to the fact that these guys get around the LA area in impossibly short times (and never run into a traffic jam) but at what point did his father and brother arranage this con that seems to rely on Jack doing exactly what they want under the cricumstances. Guy Berger Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 I must admit, since Jack's dad killed his brother the show picked up. I was on the edge of my seat as the end of tonight's episode approached. Guy Quote
Uncle Skid Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Yes, I was almost ready to give up on it a few weeks ago. The family aspect of it was an interesting twist, as is the reintroduction to Logan. I'm getting tired of the Morris/Chloe sub-plot. Prediction: that kid is Jack's son. Quote
RDK Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Prediction: that kid is Jack's son. I (and almost everyone else really) thought so at first, but the timing doesn't make sense. While Jack and his sister-in-law clearly had a thing going at some point, it would seem to have been before Jack married his wife and had Kim - and this kid is much younger than Kim (who'd be in her mid-20s by now). So no, I no longer think he's Jack's son. Quote
Guy Berger Posted March 13, 2007 Author Report Posted March 13, 2007 (edited) Hopefully that's the last we'll see of the Logans. Guy Edited March 13, 2007 by Guy Quote
Guy Berger Posted March 26, 2007 Author Report Posted March 26, 2007 I didn't even realize that was Ricky Schroder! Guy Quote
Guy Berger Posted April 8, 2007 Author Report Posted April 8, 2007 There was some terrible writing in last week's episode... "The ends justify the means." Guy Quote
Harold_Z Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 There was some terrible writing in last week's episode... "The ends justify the means." Guy Yeah.....but what the hell. I still can't wait to see the next show and the hour goes by in an instant. It's just a non stop action thriller with plenty of flaws, very unlikely coincedences and a lot of non sequtitors. It's an updated Perils Of Pauline. What is really beginning to dawn on me is just how bad Fox News is. I don't know if this is true of every viewing area, but in the NYC viewing area, 24 is followed by the news on Fox and they run some blurbs during the showing of 24. They are ridiculous beyond my ability to describe them. Just pure right wing propaganda. Quote

Over here (in CT) we have the local news (on a Fox affiliate) and while I've never picked up on right-wing propaganda, they always plug how they will reveal some insider information on 24. Pathetic. Guy Berger Posted April 17, 2007 Author Report Posted April 17, 2007 (edited) And so the season goes down the toilet. President Daniels made the right call about Jack's "mission", BTW. Guy Edited April 17, 2007 by Guy Quote
rachel Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 And so the season goes down the toilet. For real. "Jack's gone rogue.." that's shocking... Quote

Guy Berger Posted April 30, 2007 Author Report Posted April 30, 2007 I probably should have done this a few weeks ago, but I'm throwing in the towel on this season (and the show). Guy Quote
