Any fan of King Crimson's Islands lp will appreciate knowing that drummer Ian Wallace died yesterday.

As far as I can gather, he was fighting esophageal cancer, and as a result of a mistake made by a relatively new nurse, Ian ended up with a lot of fluid in his lungs and a nasty infection---which killed him a few days later.

what, was Wallace in the audience at these shows? :g

yea yea i was confusing him w/ ian mcdonald-- yea yea so there is still hope for a reunion of the 1st origional lineup

Hasn't this already happened (w/Steve Hackett replacing the Frippster)?
