Guy Berger Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 I've never seen this show and can't actually vouch for its existence, but I've watched about a season's worth of ads on TNT over the past few years. Guy Quote
jlhoots Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 Good show. I'm looking forward to the new season beginning, I believe, mid-June. Quote
Larry Kart Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 Yes -- last season and re-runs. One of my favorites. Kyra Sedgwick (a.k.a. Mrs. Kevin Bacon ) can be a bit over the top at times, but then her character is meant to be a bit over the top; that's one of the premises of the show. Also, the interaction among members of the squad is as good (realistic, funny-relaxed, coherent over time) as I've ever seen on a cop show, with the possible exception of vintage "Barney Miller." Also, most of the scripts preserve a good deal of tension as to who the guilty party is, and when we find out, we usually don't feel tricked or cheated. Quote
GregK Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 my wife likes it. I've seen a couple episodes with her; seems like your standard cop/crime drama. Nothing special about it. Quote
Stereojack Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 I like the show, although the premise is lifted from "Prime Suspect" - woman cop is put in charge, encounters resistance from the all-male old guard, eventually wins their loyalty after proving that she is very good at her job. Her character grew on me after having seen all of the first season and about half of the second. Quote
