B. Goren. Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 IMHO, every note Tapscott ever recorded, worth buying. Quote
.:.impossible Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 yeah, if I remember, this album has a Ra feel to it. Quote
Niko Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 with which Tapscott Big Band Album would you start? it seems http://www.nimbuswest.com/ has Live At IUCC, Flight 19 and (LP only) The Call...? Quote
Head Man Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 with which Tapscott Big Band Album would you start? it seems http://www.nimbuswest.com/ has Live At IUCC, Flight 19 and (LP only) The Call...? I'd start with 'Flight 19'. 'Live at I.U.C.C.' is OK but rather unfocused - it has the feel of a rehearsal session. I've not heard 'The Call' but unless you are in a hurry I would wait for the CD re-issue. It may have additional tracks. Quote
clifford_thornton Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 chewy, you will (I hope) enjoy Flight 17. It's a fantastic record. Has a very interesting, almost minimalist groove to it. Quote
