I picked up a bunch of Monk (Riverside/Prestege) at the store last week for $6.99 each.

Even though they have not been explicitly advertising a BN sale, all standard and RVG BNs that I've bought in store at J&R over the last several months have rung up at $6.99. The cashier always looks a little confused, but always gives me the price. As you noted, there is no special pricing on Conns, nor has there been on double discs or contemporary recordings.

As a caveat, the in-store selection blows now. It's not a sure bet that they will have the particular RVGs that you are looking for.

The OJC's and other Concord-related titles are now $8.99. Good price to be sure, but man, I wish I'd pulled the trigger last weekend when they were $2 cheaper.

I wish I had some extra cash lying around. Unfortunately that's going to the contractor who's working on the house. Hopefully he'll be finishing up in the next week. For now I'm in clampdown mode. I really hate that!

I think it's a relatively new online sale. I ordered a bunch of OJC (and one Blue Note, Burrell On View @ the Five Spot) @ $6.99 late last week. Just today I got e-mail from J&R touting a "Blue Note Jazz Sale". I clicked on the "See all Blue Note $6.99 CDs" link in the ad, and 445 titles came up! So I think the site's had some BNs @$6.99 for a while, but recently (greatly) expanded the number.

Was makin a nice order of a few stuff, took the time prior to do some research to be sure that they delivering in Canada. Made my order and when it was time to check out. Told me that they were not allowed to deliver those specific items to Canada
