Dan Gould Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 Its hardly beautiful or mint, but its the only time I bought an original BN. I think I paid $30. Jimmy Smith at the Club "Baby Grand" BN 1528 DG, RVG in dead wax 767 Lexington Ave address on labels and back cover Cover: Some edgewear. Not quite 1/2 seam split on bottom. small tear on front at the bottom. Far from mint but hardly one of those super damaged covers, either. Since I'm not a vinyl freak I hesitate to offer a grade but if I put it up I'd probably call it VG or VG-. Vinyl: Side 2 has the damage, with a single feel-able mark along its entire length, and a couple of shorter ones, too. Gives it regular pops but no jumps. Background hiss is minimal to nonexistent. Side 1 looks much better, does have far less pronounced clicks than side 2, though. So what might this be worth? Quote
porcy62 Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 Did you try a search on Popsike? http://www.popsike.com/ Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 Never heard of that site before, Porcy. Thanks for the link. They MUST bring this stuff out as a Conn or something soon. I've a cheapo CD of one and a half of the two LPs. MG Quote
sidewinder Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 Mines a 47W63rd mono Deep groove - near mint sleeve and vinyl (it was stuck in a cupboard for 40 years). Don't think I've seen a Lex copy of this before. Quote
