Bol Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 I am wondering whether this website is no longer in operation, as it has not been updated for a couple of months now. That would be too bad. Quote
B. Clugston Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 There's an explanation in the summer edition about Dan Warburton scaling back. http://www.paristransatlantic.com/magazine...07jul_text.html Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 XX pages for a two sentence explanation. No wonder I stopped reading a while back. Quote
Bol Posted September 5, 2007 Author Report Posted September 5, 2007 Thanks. I usually read just the reviews, and do not bother with the editorial. It's a shame that he is scaling back, although perfectly understandable. Quote
7/4 Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 But, but...he said nice things about me. Oddly enough, apart from the Feldman pieces, David Beardsley's As Beautiful As A Crescent Of A New Moon On A Cloudless Spring Evening is the most original piece on offer, despite its use of Just Intonation (something MF had little time for) and its half-hour duration. But one has to wonder what it's doing next to Feldman's fragile sonorities.–DW Because I got paid? Quote
clifford_thornton Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 I write for PT and am still not entirely clear on the fate of the magazine. I have submitted reviews for a "Fall" issue but do not know when that will run. Quote
