chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 ON SAT, I WANT TO RENT A CAR AND DRIVE 15-20 MI. OVER TO THE 'EAST-SIDE' (AKA BMW PESTO SAUCE LAND) TO SEE RINGO & HIS RINGO ALL-STARS, AT THE CHATEAU ST MICHELE WINERY, GENERAL ADMISSION LAWN./// I HAVE TO GET A TICKET FROM SOME DUDE ON CRAIGSLIST....**DURING** WORK AT LUNCH- THEN HOOK UP THE CAR AFTER WORK, BUT AVIS CLOSES AT 5 SO I WOULD HAVE TO SCRAM OVER THERE TO MAKE IT and i could give a flip about ringo: it just so happens this tour, his keyboardist: GARY WRIGHT!!!! (edgar winter is on keys as well this tour, that excites me only 1/200'th compared to gary wright. the only reason i wanna go is to hear gary sing his two hits. ive always wanted to see gary wright live. do u think its worth it to go through all that, just for this???! 7/4 Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 The day before, I went to score weed, got very drunk, passed out in a swamp by the NJ Turnpike and took an expensive Amtrak train (instead of NJ Transist) to Philly. The short version. Never did get the weed. Quote
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted July 21, 2008 Author Report Posted July 21, 2008 i was beside myself: it was worth all the crap and $$$$$$$$$ i had to go through/shell out to make it work. Quote

chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted July 21, 2008 Author Report Posted July 21, 2008 what does that mean nostailigia trumps truth/ does that mean even thought love is alive wasn't as good with ringo as it was in 1976 with the 4 keyboard player + drums band with gary on lead, steve poccaro on synth-bass, and david palmer on String Synths and pads, etc/ + 1 more guy who i dont know who it is (id be interested to know) AVIS tripple charged me for the price of the car rental// i was irate. ill never rent a car again, i wish i had that as one of my infrequent options. in fact this was the 1st time ive driven since my accident....at first i was like oh my god i thought every car was gonna run into me and hit me--- but all in all it was all still worth it to hear love is alive. nessa have you seen this yet? its like. if the concert was the Art Ensemble of Chicago, this song would be Roscoe Mitchell Quote
JSngry Posted July 21, 2008 Report Posted July 21, 2008 if the concert was the Art Ensemble of Chicago, this song would be Roscoe Mitchell Does this somehow meant that Pete Best would be Phillip Wilson? Quote
