jazzbo Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 There is an October release of a Monk cd called "Lost Recordings" ahead. . . . CD Universe shows that it has the following tracks among others. . . Fairy Land; Woody 'N You; Just One Of These Things; Day In Paris Any ideas what this might be? (My guess is its repackaged/retitled something from Europe . . . . ) Quote
John L Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 The track list would suggest that it is this disc: There is no Monk here, but maybe that is why he is "lost." Maybe after they suggested that he play Fairy Land, he conveniently disappeared. Quote
jazzbo Posted September 16, 2008 Author Report Posted September 16, 2008 Yeah, the only Fairy Land I knew of was Wallington as well. . . . Hmmm. . . well, thanks. Quote
JSngry Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 The track listeing seem to have been pulled from the CDU page: http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7748906 Quote
AllenLowe Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 (edited) well, if they've found them they're no longer lost - will have to change the title of that release - Edited September 16, 2008 by AllenLowe Quote
