Dan Gould Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 So I'm finally starting to grade the last group of LPs for my sale, and I notice one of those "Distributed by" stickers on the back of a Lockjaw-Doggett Black & Blue release - only its not the infamous Rick Ballard Imports, its "Master Takes Inc." of Whitehall, MI. I take it this was yours, Chuck? Is the phone number still good? Quote

Jim Alfredson Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 He closed it down to focus on Nessa wines: http://www.tienda.com/wine/products/wn-118.html We saw a bottle of this at a great corner store in Chicago the other week. Quote
Free For All Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 He closed it down to focus on Nessa wines: http://www.tienda.com/wine/products/wn-118.html We saw a bottle of this at a great corner store in Chicago the other week. "Green-tinged gold. Wonderfully pure and bright nose features pungent, mineral-laced apple, pear and nectarine accented by crushed stone, jasmine and pungent herbs. Racy, focused orchard and citrus flavors show excellent spine and thrust. Persistent finishing flavors of pungent herbs, minerals and lemon zest." I don't think I'll ever understand these wine descriptions. "crushed stone"? "excellent spine and thrust"? WTF? Chuck? Quote
