marcello Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 That was truly bizzare. Everybody looked high. Thanks. Quote
Shawn Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 I like at the end of the tune when the guitarist doesn't realize the song is ending, keeps strumming, stops...but then recovers in time to play the last chord. Quote
JSngry Posted November 30, 2008 Author Report Posted November 30, 2008 One viewer thinks its Duck Dunn & Steve Cropper on bass & guitar, and you know what? They might be correct. Quote

Doesn't look like Cropper & Dunn to me. Me neither. It's certainly not impossible! I certainly like this Drake guy better than Peter Frampton! Quote
Dave James Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 (edited) Did a little Google work on this. Although I couldn't find out exactly who was on the video, I can tell you that Pete Drake's original band which he formed in the late '50's and called The Sons of the South, included Jerry Reed, Doug Kershaw, Roger Miller and Joe South. Also, Drake got around. During his career, he worked with all kinds of musicians from Dylan on Nashville Skyline to Harrison on All Things Must Pass and many, many others. Up over and out. Jim Alfredson Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 No way the rhythm guitarist is Steve Cropper, but the bassist could definitely be Duck Dunn. I like this kinda talkbox: Quote
