I am super excited He's one of the best composers I've ever heard!! and he was nominated for 3 GRAMMYs!! Anyway... I think it will be a good idea to put different jazz artists who've (ever) been nominated for GRAMMY award:) maybe we can digg new names:) I started with Gordon Goodwin - Big Phat Band, please reply me with your fave artist(s) Quote
Free For All Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Sorry to say I'm not a big GG fan. Great LA players in that band, but the writing is too much flash over substance for my taste. Glad you like his stuff, but be aware there are a lot of other great writers to check out. Quote
