Ken Dryden
I have a copy of the Classic DVD audio of Lou Donaldson's Lou Takes Off available for sale or a reasonable trade offer. Send me a PM if interested.
The Magnificent Goldberg
Sorry to be so dim, but what's a Classic DVD audio? What advantage does it give over the TOCJ? MG
AllenLowe
after playing twice, one is able to eat it - like a hot dog -
Ken Dryden
The Classic plays on in a DVD audio player or DVD player, not a regular CD player. It's supposed to be high tech, but I play most of my CDs in CD players. The sound is good, though I have no idea how it sounds in comparison to a Japanese TOCJ CD reissue. Cliff Englewood
after playing twice, one is able to eat it - like a hot dog - Oh Allen, where do you find the time to be sooooooooo funny, what with the projects and all. You really are the living end.

Kevin Bresnahan
The Classic DAD of "Lou Takes Off" is one of the few Classics DAD discs that I liked more than the TOCJ CD. BTW, these DAD discs will play in any modern DVD player. The only DVD players that balk at it are first-generation players without 24 bit/96 kHz DACs.
