couw Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 (edited) Up for some additions. (Still waiting for couw or AB to create the Impulse! There Will Never Be Another You cover. ) you never asked... (ah, I see you did hint at it though) Edited July 17, 2004 by couw Quote
Late Posted July 17, 2004 Author Report Posted July 17, 2004 Nice one, couw! And I can imagine the Impulse! logo right after the "You." (BTW, the original cover of There Will Never Be Another You is very cheesy.) Quote
Late Posted July 17, 2004 Author Report Posted July 17, 2004 I saw a Rollins Trio at Ronnie Scotts in the latter half of the sixties, A great night with one long medley. No recollection of who played bass and drums though. Can anyone remind me. No note of a trio that played Ronnie Scott's in my discography, but there is this listing: Ronnie Scott's London, England March 3-4, 1966 Sonny Rollins: tenor saxophone Stan Tracey: piano Freddy Logan: bass Bill Eyden: drums (March 3rd) Louis Hayes: drums (March 4th) Apparently, a private tape of this gig exists. Maybe Tracey has it, or Scott's estate? Quote

This should have the tracks you list. Harkit has recently issued albums by Bill Evans, Stan Getz, Jay Jay Johnson and others at Ronnie Scott's. Quote
