ghost of miles Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 For the Dallas/Texan folk on board: KERA buys 91.7 frequency for Triple A NPR station "Triple A"=Adult Album Alternative Quote
rostasi Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 Yes, I heard about this yesterday afternoon. They bought the frequency now used by a religious station (oh, the irony). Instead of turning the station into a progressive station that we sorely need, they've decided that we want to be serenaded by lesbian folk singers, """"""world"""""" music, and world-weary twenty-somethings with a guitar and "sensitive" lyrics. Oh boy! Can't wait!!! ® Quote
Big Al Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Shit, I thought that already happened with 93.3. And yeah, that is kinda ironic about the format change. Quote
JSngry Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 I so don't listen to the radio here any more. Quote
ghost of miles Posted November 9, 2009 Author Report Posted November 9, 2009 KXT now live for the Dallas/Texan crowd. Quote
