Kevin Bresnahan Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I got an E-mail from AUM Fidelity this morning announcing a new "LP only" release of the David S. Ware Quartet's "Live in Vilnius". Only 1000 copies will be pressed. Their last LP release, William Parker's "Petit Oiseau", sold out pretty quickly, although that was only 500 copies. I listened to some samples of the band at an earlier date and it's not my "cup 'o tea", but I thought I'd pass it on. The link: http://www.aumfidelity.com/NBLP4.html Kevin Quote
clifford_thornton Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Yeah, it's a split release with Lithuanian label No Business, which has put out some interesting sessions in its short existence. The Trio X LP is particularly nice. I've got this one on order & will report back. Quote
porcy62 Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Thanks, it's definitely one of 'my cups of tea'. Quote
