Jazzmoose
Hey, you know that little box of text that follows the cursor around? Is there any way to turn this EXTREMELY ANNOYING "FEATURE" off? It's currently displaying the title of a photo from wikipedia that I viewed six pages ago, and as the pirate with the steering wheel mounted on his crotch said, "arrrrr...it's driving me nuts!" Shawn
I think that feature is called "Tool Tips" or something like that (I assume you're talking about Windows).
Kevin Bresnahan
Try this to see if it's what you're looking for. Later, Kevin

Claude
What browser are you using?
Jazzmoose
Try this to see if it's what you're looking for. Later, Kevin Well, it looks like that took care of 99% of the problem! A very tiny version of the box shows up, but it's much, much smaller than the cursor and I can live with it. At least it's not a line of text covering part of the page or image! Thanks. What browser are you using? Fire Fox, but it does it in IE as well. Hope the title shown is not from an x rated page Yeah, it sucks having to see the words "threeway with schoolgirl, donkey and monkey" plastered on the picture of the cute kitten you're trying to look at. Almost makes you lose your salty snack food!
catesta
Dude, what's up? Salty snack food is so Organissimo of yesterday. Didn't you get the memo? We've all moved on to Seared Magret Duck Breast with Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Haricots Verts and Brandied Cherry Reduction Sauce as the preferred food. No more beer either. It's all wine and single malt scotch. Porn however is still very much in and accepted. They can't take that away!

Kevin Bresnahan
In general, registry edits are not implemented until you re-boot. The registries are not read except during boot. Later, Kevin
Jazzmoose
Yeah, I rebooted right after I ran the program.
