Pete C Posted April 12, 2012 Report Share Posted April 12, 2012 When I switched from DSL to cable I got a single-unit combo modem-router which I'm very happy with. I've only had to reboot 3 or 4 times, and I don't have to wonder whether it's the modem or the router that needs to be reset. I'm pretty sure I had to call a help desk for initial setup since these days even if you get printed instructions, good luck with comprehensibility.
