CJ Shearn
Figured I would post for those interested that Antonio Sanchez has a new album out on CAM Jazz. Same pianoless quartet format as "Migration" except Miguel Zenon on alto replaces Chris Potter, and I realize not everyone may be a fan of Antonio's busy style but the album is smoking. Really well recorded, mixed and mastered. What I really dig is their take on Pat Metheny's "H&H", which really brings out the Ornette-ish nature of the tune out more than the original version on "Question and Answer". CJ Shearn
I can't get enough of when Antonio does the Rhumba clave with his left foot, I know a lot of people hate it but it works for me.

CJ Shearn
I love Antonio's cymbal sound on this disc. David Oakes, one of Pat Metheny's engineers for the past 20-25 years really nailed it!
