These longbox versions have turned up for amazing prices (the Coltrane, Bitches Brew and second quintet ones). They won't look as sharp as the metal spines ones but should be a lot easier to handle and flip through the pages... Quote

(Should have been included as bonus tracks for the single-disc version -- needs to be heard more!!) Quote
medjuck Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 You can construct your own alternate of "I Loves you Porgy" that's longer than the first if you use the alternate solo. It was done for release as a single but for some reason Schapp didn't include all of it. I guess he thought we already had the head on the official release. Quote
