A one-owner-drum kit from 1940 to the present (and a celebrity owner before that). Can't be many like that.

The chance for more people to see them was more important, she said."

... of course is a highly commendable attitude. Wish there were more like this.

Nice video of the band (with Krupa apparently playing those same drums) embedded with the newspaper story. Thanks for posting that. Reminds me that a Mosaic set of Goodman's Big Band material for Victor would be nice to have.
