Bol Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 I've been going to Encore since I was in grad school in Ann Arbor, and still visit regularly as my girlfriend teaches at UM. I will miss Peter who has always been very friendly and ready with recommendations and advice about recordings. I think at least about 30% of my collection is from Encore. Nothing like being stuck on a paper or a dissertation chapter, and getting a break from it by going to Encore to browse. I would run into friends, my professors, my mailman, etc. Oh I hope they stay open... Quote

If that goes, and with the impending bankruptcy of Borders, Schoolkids left a few years ago, Shaman Drum left recently.....there's not much reason to stick around Ann Arbor anymore. Quote
