OK, what I did was stumble upon an mp3 page where on the left it allows you to click on groups of prices. I've seen this before, but not every time, and I don't know how to get there reliably.

Then I clicked on "$1.99-$4.99".

Then I clicked on the left on "jazz".

Maybe 1% of the titles are jazz. It took me a long time, but I looked at the first 86 pages, up to $3.96.

I settled on Herbie Mann Returns to the Village Gate for $3.45, less the $2.00 credit, leaving $1.45.

I saw a Peter Brotzmann called Neurotransmitter that some of you might be interested in. I saw one called Bird on 52nd Street. I also saw Bird with Chet called At the Tradewinds. And quite a few Billy Harpers.

I tend not to use these $2 credits to buy the lowest price titles (not there's anything wrong with that, mind you). Instead, I mosey on over to my wish list and pick something from that. It's easier for me to pull the trigger on a $10.99 Steeplechase album when it's only $8.99.

Some of you may be interested in this with your $2 credit: Jon Irabagon w/ Mike Pride - I Don't Hear Nothin' but the Blues, available for 99 cents. I was recently turned on to Pride through his work with Jason Stein's Locksmith Isidore. On their latest album, Three Kinds of Happiness, Pride proves to be pretty versatile and sounds great playing with brushes. On I Don't Hear Nothin' but the Blues, he favors a surprisingly heavy, almost bludgeoning attack. The album is a single track, clocking in at almost 48 minutes!
