PC help!!!

My daughter's laptop is invected with this Malware program that keeps popping up stating you must buy the full version on Win 7 Antispyware 2012 to remove the infections. I've tried several programs to remove this. It seems to work, but the next day the little bastard is back. Anyone get hit by this virus and know how to remove it?

I don't know about that particular nasty bug, but in the past I've had good luck with Spybot Search and Destroy.

Try Spybot, Malwarebytes and a registry cleaner. Hopefully one of them should work.

I just went through this very virus. Spybot does nothing, and Avast! is just as effective. Malwarebytes may work; I didn't have it before this attack. I finally had to give up and take it into the shop.

try running a system restore for a date prior to getting the infection

Run Malwarebytes first. Get it here.

That will probably break the back of your problem. Then run a spyware scan to remove any lingering bad stuff.

I was infected by a similar virus a week ago and had to get Premium Technical Support from Verizon, my FiOS provider, to remove it. Good luck removing it.

I did manage to get rid of it using Spybot. I did need to bring the laptop into safe mode. It found the registry entries it was embedded and cleaned those entries.
