GA Russell Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 I always enjoy articles about the many uses for household staples like vinegar and baking soda, and here's one about WD-40. http://www.rd.com/slideshows/13-amazing-uses-for-wd-40/?trkid=outbrain-all Quote
Dan Gould Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 Nothing has more uses than our own WD45. Quote
JSngry Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 You don’t need a bald genie...to clean ugly gunk and lime stains from your toilet bowl. Well, need, no...not exactly... Quote
marcello Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 Spray WD40 on a old hairy piece of chewing gum to remove the hair? Boy, you have to be really hard core, junky, and degenerate gum chewer! Quote
cih Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 wow! - I actually have had a bad experience with WD40 and dog's mess - at my first day of work at a new job (I don't know why I'm telling this story) I noticed in the car on my way there that I had stepped in something, and it was all over the pedals & mat.. I had no time (can't be late on a first day at work) so in haste I sprayed the whole lot with WD40 to disguise the stench. To my horror this did not help matters and seemed merely to act as an accelorator for the aroma to reach and penetrate my nostrils in acrid vapours. Had to leave the car in that state all day in the sun (I had time to clean my shoe on the grass). I hope this is of some help to someone. Quote
