i was very sad to read about Ron's passing. i think he was only 63. i worked for his manager/agent in the '70s so had some contact with him. he was always warm, friendly and very funny (except when he was depressed, that is)!! his career after Kotter had to be extremely frustrating for him.

R.I.P. Ron.

I remember seeing Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs in Roots. Although it was around the same time as Welcome Back Kotter. Travolta wasn't in that one Apparently Robert Reed was but I don't remember him.

i think it's wonderful that Ron was with his partner for 41 years. i remember Joe too. my sincere condolences to him and Ron's other family members and friends.
