felser Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 I have acquired this 3CD Steve Lacy set, which is apparently pretty rare. Got it in a gigantic trade (45 discs in each direction). It contains five complete albums: 'Lapis', 'Scraps', 'Dreams', 'Roba' and 'The Owl'. I like it OK, but not blown away by it, so I'd like to find a good home for this set if some Lacy fan would really like to have it. Not sure how to price/value it, as I don't see it available for sale anywhere except for one listing on ebay asking $125 for it (no bids yet on that listing). If you are interested, make me some sort of fair offer in cash or trade, or if you have any input on how to correctly value this, let me know. I'm not concerned about getting maximum return as much as just working out something fair to all parties involved and getting this to someone who would really treasure it. Thanks. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 A very interesting collection of '70s Lacy. Had a couple of the lps and was glad to snag the box when issued. Quote
colinmce Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 Well, if no one bites before then I may have an offer after the weekend. I'm thinking that's quite an 'if' though. Quote
romualdo Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 IMHO essential for any Lacy fan luckily obtained mine when it was readily available Quote
