AllenLowe
I have almost every one of those and I recommend people buy 'em up; Schitten will never let his stuff come out as CDs. He did license a few things but regretted it and will not do it again. Edited November 14, 2013 by AllenLowe
BFrank
I remember when some of those albums briefly showed up on eMusic.
Head Man
Schitten will never let his stuff come out as CDs. He did license a few things but regretted it and will not do it again. Do you know why, Allen?
mjzee
Does he still have the master tapes? The eMusic releases were needle drops.
mjzee
If you don't already have it, Jimmy Raney's Live in Tokyo is a wonderful record. Are there any other must-haves on this list? I have Al Cohn (138, 179) and Barry Harris (213), and I may have Jimmy Heath (118) and Lucky Thompson (204) - I have to check. How are the Bebop Revisited titles? robertoart
Will they be warped if they're still sealed? Only cos I'm interested in getting some......
mjzee
Xanadu vinyl was very noisy. Be resigned to what you get, because there ain't any other way to get it.
robertoart
My Ted Dunbar album sounded a bit harsh on listening. My Jimmy Raney one is OK. Edited November 17, 2013 by freelancer
jazzmusicdepot
I've sold about 300 in the last 5 years and only got maybe 15 back in that time due to being warped.
