.:.impossible Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 I am pretty sure that Poster Bodoni wasn't around in 1905. My best guess would be 1930's for Linotype. I understand your point though. I think it is important to understand that these characters, whether they were created in the 18th century, or the 20th century, required hundreds of hours of detailed work. Dies were cast, formed into various sizes of metal movable type. At some point in the last thirty-five or so years, these were rendered as vector digital characters, which also required hundreds of hours of detailed work. Fonts are intellectual property. $29 is not much to ask, in my opinion. Quote
