GA Russell Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Here's something that I find interesting, although what if anything it proves, I'm not sure. Mediametric is a website which keeps track of the websites which have the most reader comments. http://mediametric.com/ Today Alex Jones is bragging that his site gets more comments than ESPN's. Here is the relevant portion of the list: 13. TMZ 14. Infowars (Alex Jones) 15. CBS News 16. ESPN 17. The Hill The Hill is a quite high-brow political site. TMZ is a low-brow celebrity site. http://www.infowars.com/infowars-beats-espn-in-total-reader-comments/ Any thoughts? Quote
ejp626 Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 I think after one look I'll avoid InfoWars like the plague... Quote
JSngry Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Would not a shorter list be one of websites that do not have comments? Is # of comments something that's drives ad rates on sites these days, as opposed to (or in addition to) hits? Quote
Jazzmoose Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 I think after one look I'll avoid InfoWars like the plague... Sorry you were exposed to that unexpectedly. On the other hand, it's been years since I saw it, and rest assured, you'll never do it again. Quote
