bertrand Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 Just got Larks' Tongues and Starless (30th anniversary editions) from Barnes And Noble. I am surprised at how poorly reproduced the covers are, although the CDs look legit. These aren't CD-Rs, are they? They also have them at Amazon and it says nothing about CD-Rs, which usually it would on Amazon. It would really surprise me since Fripp is such a control freak. They even have a disclaimer about exploitative artists contracts, so if these were CD-Rs, that would be quite the irony. Thanks, Bertrand. P.S. I know they are more expanded versions out there (40th anniversary, Japanese, $800 boxes etc.). I just can't keep track, and I am not a KC completist. I just wanted these two which have always been among my favorite KC records. Quote
Stefan Wood Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 No, they aren't cdrs. I had the 40th anniversary edition, later sold for the massive box set. Quote
bertrand Posted April 11, 2015 Author Report Posted April 11, 2015 It's just weird how the booklets look like photocopies. You would think Fripp would be more picky. Quote
Shawn Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 The 40th anniversary editions have made those editions obsolete. Quote
