peterintoronto Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 (edited) This is essential stuff: http://www.ptd.lu/films/taking-the-dog-for-a-walk.html It is a thoroughly vital and engaging film and it gets my highest recommendation. Plus there's a bonus disc of interviews and an audio disc of Steve Noble, John Edwards, and Alex Ward. It also features our very own Alexander Hawkins! 10/10. peterintoronto Posted April 14, 2015 Author Report Posted April 14, 2015 I bought mine here: http://ptd.lu/films/taking-the-dog.html#order Quote
Clunky Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 Looks interesting , pity a DL option isn't available as that would suit me better. The CD does look interesting . I have a very nice LP by .N.E.W. on Dancing Wayang . Quote
mjazzg Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 Looks intriguing. I will admit to having an irrational negative response to the way that Thurston Moore's suddenly seems to have become such an important figure in Brit improv. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big SY fan and respect his efforts in that field but I do wonder what merits his inclusion in something like this film. Sorry for that diversion - it's just a personal soap box I like to clamber atop whenever the opportunity presents itself Quote
Alexander Hawkins Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Thanks for the reminder about this! I think I was on the road when they had the premiere, so I haven't actually seen this yet...very much looking forward! Quote
