PF Sloan, aka Phil or Flip, died yesterday of pancreatic cancer.  RIP.

He and Steve Barri wrote many hits of the '60s, my favorite being Secret Agent Man.

They were also known as The Fantastic Baggys.

P.F. Sloan was neither Skip nor Flip. Skip was Skip Battin, later a session musician, and a member of the Byrds. Flip was Gary Paxton, later a songwriter/producer.
