A terrific performance enhanced by typically exquisite Decca AQ.

For this listener, Scheherazade is one of those works that never fails to cast its magic spell.  :)

This sort of DRAMATIC, COLORFUL music is right in Stokowski's wheelhouse.  Phew!!!  What a ride!  :)

I just looked up the details of this set on Discogs.  It looks like it would be very interesting -- especially the Schönberg pieces conducted by Fricsay.

Would you recommend it, Chuck?
