miles65 Posted October 20, 2019 Report Posted October 20, 2019 I splashed out and bought the 200 CD 'Mozart The New Complete edition' After some youth works and a lot of Variations this morning CD5 with piano sonata K332 by Brendel and now CD 6 with piano sonata's K330, K333 played by Bredel and k331 by Piemontesi truly delightful. No. 9 "Choral" - with Kiri Te Kanawa, Julia Hamari, Stuart Burrows, Robert Holl, London Symphony Orchestra & London Symphony Chorus Bought this set to hear Jochum's Bruckner & Brahms, but I've ended up liking it best for his Beethoven. It's a tremendous LvB cycle, and the Ninth is particularly special. Quote
