Thanks Chuck!  I can see it now so clearly, but I sure didn't have any idea yesterday.  Thanks again.

I may post some other jazz pics this guy has, if I see any others that are unidentified.  He has a nice one of Duke, and a couple other jazz-related images.

I believe that image is flipped.  Trumpet looks backwards.

On this japanese site http://chuansong.me/n/1310361 you can read:"1960, a jazz trumpeter at halftime sitting beside a tent to smoke. This may be at New Port Jazz Festival." Blue Mitchell, 30 years old, was there with the Horace Silver Quintet.
