What a sad way to go.

My only acquitance with Terry Plumeri comes via the 1971 album "He Who Lives In Many Places," which is a very interesting early Weather Report type affair with Herbie Hancock, John Abercrombie, Eric Gravatt and Michael Smith.  Listening right now in memory of Terry Plumeri.

I have two of his LPs, both are excellent music - where can you hear Hancock and Abercrombie on one record? Words fail me - a terrible way to get killed. What strange times we live in ...

I didn't know his work, but that's a terrible way to die.

I'm with you, Paul.  I hope that they catch the murderer.  I would like to check out He Who Lives in Many Places, because tthat lineup has to be well worth hearing.  Rest in peace, Mr. Plumeri.

RIP.  I'm sure I bought an album he was on in the early '80s, but I can't think of what it was.  His Wikipedia page doesn't list his albums as a sideman.
