jaimie branch's Fly Or Die followup, which I sadly never got around to picking up until after her death last week.  As good or even better than the first one IMO:

... and now on to some Joey:

And the second Anteloper was better than the first too, I think.  She was going somewhere good, so sad

Booker Ervin "That's It" Candid cd 2022, stereo.

With Horace Parlan, George Tucker and Al Harewood. This is probably the fifth time I've bought this music, and the last two times (the Japanese mono cd release, and this one) the sound is finally really good. The music has always had my attention.

Superb platter ....

Thanks (or maybe no thanks ) for mentioning this. I'm close to ordering, but still on the fence. Have listened on bandcamp.

It’s worth ordering the CD set, the large format book and essay (with lots of pictures taken at the gigs) which holds the CDs is very well done.

Simon Spillett’s very good essay covers the circumstances of the time with rampant inflation, power rationing and Cold War tensions. Hmmm - at least we ditched the brown carpets, flock wallpaper and Watney’s Red Barrel.

with Edsel Gomez-piano- Hans Glaschwignig-bass - Antonio Sanchez- drums, and Miguel Zenon alto sax.

A great fusion of jazz and latin elements by a tight group.

Santana "Abraxas" Mobile Fidelity Lab gold cd

I have the Mobile Fidelity SACD as well but this one is still a good sounding mastering and disc.

The music takes me back a bit to college days.
