😁 👍

Are these earlier recordings (MGM?)  I'm a fan of the classic quintet sound.

I'm enjoying that one quite a bit after a couple of listens. Seems more focussed than the previous release

I am a jet lagged mess today but I found it extremely good. All the greats of Nordic jazz are on it but none were yet greats. It is basically a very good euro-jazz record of its era (stew together Electric Miles, free jazz and modal stuff) with some very sibilant Norwegian poetry over parts of it.

Sounds more than intriguing. I shall try it

Interesting choice to combat jet lag or perhaps a choice caused by the jet lag

A beautiful early morning. Lucinda and I had a wonderful dinner last night and long conversation with the older of my two brothers and his wife. Felt so good to be spending time with them.

Charles Mingus “The Lost Album from Ronnie Scott’s” disc 3

A stretching out of great material by great musicians.
