All the greats of Nordic jazz are on it but none were yet greats. It is basically a very good euro-jazz record of its era (stew together Electric Miles, free jazz and modal stuff) with some very sibilant Norwegian poetry over parts of it. Quote

Referentzhunter Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 (edited) Good first three tracks but overall a little underwhelming overall (this is not accusation at). On some tracks his voice irritates me. Edited June 16 by Referentzhunter Quote
jazzbo Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 A beautiful early morning. Lucinda and I had a wonderful dinner last night and long conversation with the older of my two brothers and his wife. Felt so good to be spending time with them. Charles Mingus “The Lost Album from Ronnie Scott’s” disc 3 A stretching out of great material by great musicians. Quote
