Do you really think that time speaks English in the men's room? - Jayne Cortez

Brought to you through the courtesy of love.

It's akin to learning about color theory in painting. If you don't know theory then you really don't know what you're looking at. Notice this has nothing to do with appreciation of the artwork in question, but rather understanding the analytical side of it. - Jim Alfredson

Eddie Jefferson “Things Are Getting Better” Muse cd

I am trying to put up with a few aching parts of my anatomy (this storage unit project is really something) by enjoying this album which was in storage for so many years, and which I probably never appreciated as much as I do listening to it today.

Bass – Sam Jones
Drums – Eddie Gladden
Piano, Electric Piano, Organ, Saw – Mickey Tucker
Tenor Saxophone, Flute, Bass Clarinet – Billy Mitchell
Trumpet – Joe Newman
Vocals – Conrad Buckman, Eddie Jefferson, Mildred Weston

I wonder if Billy Mitchell did all the reed and flute parts in over-dubbing? A fun listen.

Hey, I speak for myself. For no one else. It's no one else's opinion here but mine. I'm behind it.--Lon Armstrong
