Radiohead - Hail to the Thief

...I love the 2 cd compilations of Radiohead's EMI albuns, despite the band not sanctioning them.  They do a great job of compiling all of the bsides and associated tracks for each album.

Icehouse - Sidewalk

I sort of fell out of love with this band after this release.  They had a couple of big pop hits later, but no longer sounded like Icehouse to me.

Trivia - Guy Pratt plays bass on this album.  Pratt has been Pink Floyd's bassist post-Roger Waters, and plays and tours with both David Gilmour and Nick Mason separately.  And he married Rick Wright's daughter lol.

Underwhelming at this late date despite the reputation (and the sound quality isn't so hot, either), but still an interesting listen for the faithful.  I'm a semi-faithful, so it's borderline for me.  I'm likely to stick with the original studio albums:

I bought this when it first came out in 2008. Didn't listen much - more interesting as an historical artifact of the time and place than great music. I got this version when it was released, too, because I they found the OG tape and there are more tracks. Haven't listened to it at all, though.
