Chuck Nessa Posted March 4, 2020 Report Posted March 4, 2020 Can anyone explain (in record terms) why 78 is the sum of 33 and 45? Quote
BFrank Posted March 4, 2020 Report Posted March 4, 2020 Chuck - Wikipedia has a lengthy piece about the history of records, including speeds. Maybe the answer is here! Phonograph record Quote

In record terms, no, because 33 1/3 + 45 = 78 1/3, not 78. But consider this: 7+8 =15 and 3+3+4+5=15 15+15=30 3+0=3 3 = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3 Therefore: Q.E.D. Quote
