I might mention that my wife(!) really likes Free at Last (ECM) — as well as the Legendary Hasaan date with Max Roach.

Whenever I put them on, she always asks “who’s that?” — and then she calls them “nice and bangy!” or words to that effect. 

(I can always tell when she likes something I’m listening to, if she asks who it is.)
