Is that Tivoli radio any good? I see that their clock radio is $299.99. I like waking up on time, but not that much!

Jim, the reviews say that the thing is fantastic.

I don’t personally know anyone that owns one, but I’ve seen nothing but raves about them.

Never even knew about their alarm clock. Seems like a bit much.

Man, for three hundred it better pour my coffee and take out the dog too!

Pour my coffee, drink it, and piss it out so I don't have to spend all that time in the can once I get to my desk.

If I can all get that, I'll deal with the dog. But only if!

That Tivoli clock radio looks like a real dog. The Amazon reviews are pretty bad. From overly bright lights to poorly contrasted, or rather, unreadable writing on the dials, it doesn't seem like something I'd want. On top of that, it has one of those single arm alarms. Am I the only one who remembers how shitty those were to set? You almost always had to stick to "on the hour" alarms and even if you did that, you could be off by 10 minutes in either direction.

Yuck.

Paid under $20 for my GE clock radio.   It wakes me up fine, and gives me the traffic and weather via KYW.

I still have my old Cambridge Audio clock radio.  Unfortunately the cd player part of it broke so I've had to use a cheap DVD player as a turntable.

I’ve heard people rave about Elac speakers, though I’ve never auditioned them.

I guess I should know who Andrew Jones is, but I do not believe that I do. Cat who knows his shit, obviously?

OH!

Yes, those are amazing speakers. Far beyond their price range. I didn’t know the name of the designer behind them.
