Hoping this will be a more consistent effort than the two records with Morgan.  Somehow, most of the tracks on those albums didn't engage me.  But I'm always interested in listening to Frisell.

I don't understand why these major labels delay the releases. Given that there is not a lot on the market now due to the Pandemic, why not release it now rather than August?

A lot of people are struggling financially right now. As good as this recording might be, it's hardly a necessity.

I think it has more to do with available (or unavailable) manpower along the pressing and distribution chain than anything else.
