Why that rat!! I'll fix him!! It's IRS audit time! B-) Seriously, aren't there 6 tracks per lp? If the source of these burns worked a little magic and did some creative fading here & there, he did a decent job. Introducing 4:43 5:26 6:05 5:50 10:40 8:28 40.32 Multidirections 5:21 6:01 6:41 9:51 4:57 5:04 37:15

For several years, the spousal unit & I made the rounds and played most of those courts. Do you ever remember looking out the window and seeing an off-balance idiot swinging the racquet while clutching a Beck's in the other hand? HELLO!! B-) Any chance that Jamie Gallagher was a neighbor of yours? -

I met 'Free for All' there last year when he played. I think the trio they paired him with ** were members of the US Army Band. Only problem getting into Ft. Myers is a royal pain w/security and all....sure was that day. ** that poor ettiquette on my part? would it be better to say "trio that was offered a unique once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play opposite him? -

Ah, yes...we're getting warmer. I'd say you're sandwiched in between Courthouse Plaza and Ft. Meyer. Not bad. Good jump-off points (Washington Blvd, Wilson Blvd, #50) to help ya 'fan out' and get the heck out of Dodge. -

RonS, is on the money here!! Small world, Ron...we had a place in N. Fairlington (27th Road) during the 80's and sold in '93. Those places went like hotcakes....think we we had two contracts the day we listed. Remember when you'd come down the hill into Shirlington and that Masters Tuxedo was on the left..and that crummy Goodyear tire place and the vacant lot? That's all changed. Shirlington Village proper was nice before....but they've continued to spruce it up and turned it into a magnet. The Carlyle Grand had a major facelift awhile back and is quite nice...they've got some big condo/apt development going in next to the theater as well. I'll bet you used to wander across King Street for some New Orleans-style chow over at Copeland's, eh? Blackened catfish & beans? Did you work on the Hill? I swear, if someone nuked Fairlington, they'd take out 1/3 of the Hill staff. -

Oh! Well, um........there's a nice little hardware store over there on Wilson Blvd. You can leave your pruning shears off there for sharpening and then mosey on up the block for some 'Red, Hot & Blue' takeout ribs. -
You're absolutely correct!! IMO, the forum to get rid of is this angst ridden one. This is the place that all the Jr. tinkerers and micro-managers come to carp and give us their latest 'suggestions' and grand visions about how this little BB of a world should be run. You want to talk about "polarization" and "uncivility rearing it's ugly head", then look no further than the forum discussion water cooler where folks routinely gather to point fingers, gnash teeth, etc.. A wide variety of opinions about Marsalis, Bush and Krispy Kreme donuts is one thing..........bodies hovering around the conference table, latest edition of 'Blueprint for Successful Board Management' in hand, is quite another.

I don't think Bertrand gets out much....he seems to have missed all the fine strip malls and assorted clutter up there in the good 'ol Wheaton area from University Blvd and beyond. -
Damn, and here I thought DizzySpiels was my weizen beer drinking Dutch pal who'll go to his grave convinced that there's something not quite right with the Cuozzo 'Mighty Mike' sonics.

Oh come on, don't give me that! You know perfectly well that you got it by following Abbie Hoffman's record LP procurement instructions in Steal This Book. -

If it's Pentagon City, the entrance is outside the Nordstroms. Sounds like you might be in one of those neighborhoods between Pentagon City and 23rd street. Nice little area.....lot's of restaurants on 23rd street and on the backside of Crystal City (Crystal Drive) facing nat. airport....not to mention all the joints located inside the Crystal Underground & over in the courtyard of the Pentagon Row (Sine is a good Irish Pub). -

Which metro? ....Clarendon? Pentagon City? Crystal City? -
I think that someone here recently floated a re-issue list that included this title but it seems to have vanished. Did I imagine it all?

Jesus, no kidding! Actually, if I was gonna zip someone from a board, I'd just zip 'em...no need to go public and set in motion a first class melee. Someone threatens people....ya just flip the switch and miraculously, they just never post again. These untidy cyber liquidations are so............soooooo Red Menace-like. B-) Where's the Maalox bottle? -

Do you honestly think that a guy's going to be sitting around on pins & needles for a full year anxiously waiting for an invitation to come back to an online bulletin board? If that's the case, he needs his head examined. Jesus Christ, he's history!! .....let him move on with his life!!! -

Why not bring Effron back as long as he agrees to take sole responsibility for managing the dozens of daily B'Day threads? -

Oh boy, just what you'd like.....a little cyber island fortress where you could play warden and go on at length about your favorite politicians -- day after day...month after month...decade after decade... -

Allright people, let's just settle this thing once and for all and hand out an appropriate punishment ---- Rooster gets banned for violating the 'too much sucking up on one thread' rule. BUT, seriously, (and probably most importantly!!) -- I still think this is Jim's board, and therefore think that Jim ought to do whatever he thinks is best, including ignoring what I think. Whatever. It's Jim's board, and it's Jim's call, and I'll back whatever he decides. -

Yes, I'd heard about the box...but some folks said they'd received them w/o rust and I didn't really expect them to ship out sealed sets that were already covered w/the stuff. Didn't really notice much about the cd holder...perhaps some casual references to it? Quite frankly, that's something that you actually have to see to believe. -

Son-of-a-Weizen replied to kulu se mama's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
Oh Jesus...am I going to get detention for this, Brad? The "work" = the principal of the matter.....which is a different story. Sorry Brad, but it makes no sense to me to spend money in order that I might then toss half of the set -- discard both the box and ridiculous cd holder/sleeve -- in favor of a rack of generic jewel boxes that won't have any tray inserts, etc. I'd much rather get my money back and pick up some quality Jap. import discs...or a fistful of Mosaic Selects. Signed, Gomer (now listening to a burn of cd #3 B-) ) -

Forget that thing. Life's too short to keep some rusting ammo box from the HMS Prince of Wales on these shelves. That booklet looks like some 60's-era 'Guide to NATO Ground Forces Equipment Identification' booklet that was issued to Warsaw Pact troops. -

Woah! Don't they say that you're supposed to seek medical attention if you've had it for more than 4 hours? B-)
